Kibale Forest National Park
Kibale National Park is a stunning natural wonder, a modern-day Garden of Eden.

Kibale National Park.

Uganda’s best chimp tracking site preserves 766 km2 of mostly wooded habitat that stretches more
than 50 kilometers (31 miles) south of the major Fort Portal-Kampala Road to the northeast boundary
of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Kibale Forest, which was first designated as a forest reserve in 1932, was subsequently raised to national
park status and extended southward to form a continuous block with the Queen Elizabeth National Park
in 1993. This link generates a stunning 180-kilometer animal migration route. It connects the cities of
Ishasha to the south with Sebitoli to the north. This large parkland allows you to see a wide variety of
wild creatures.

Semuliki National Park
The Semuliki National Park at the border of Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo preserves an
extension of the Ituri forest. It is situated on the Rwenzori Mountains’ plain in western Uganda. It is East
Africa’s sole real lowland tropical forest tract. It has a surface size of 220km2 and an elevation of 670m760m
above sea level.
The park features the Sempaya Hot Springs, which are split into two distinct springs known as the Male
and Female Springs. The Male Spring is a geyser with boiling temperatures reaching up to 103°C,
whereas the Female Spring is a large warm pool believed to have healing properties.

Kampala

Uganda’s bustling capital city. The city is Uganda’s biggest, with a population of roughly 1.68 million people
distributed among five boroughs. Kampala is said to be one of Africa’s fastest growing cities and the
greatest place to live in East Africa.
This mountainous region with its valleys is rich with rivers and marshes, which add to the charm and
landscape. Explore the city center’s attractions, including as the parliament, monuments, and the
Gaddafi Mosque, among others.
