3-Days Murchison Falls Safari
Murchison Falls National Park also known as the strongest water fall offers a
memorable and magnificent natural wonder, with exciting activities such as
hiking top and bottom of the falls game drives, a boat cruise on the Victoria
Nile. It is the only national park in Uganda with the Big five animals namely
African Elephant, African buffalo, lion, leopard, Rhino and over 450 bird
species.

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Begin your safari early in the morning with a warm pick-up from agreed place. As you journey
through
Uganda’s lush countryside, the spirit is in the air, with sights of decorated villages and joyful
communities.
Arrive at Murchison Falls National Park in the early afternoon. Check-in at your lodge and enjoy
a hearty holiday. Afterward, embark on your first game drive on the northern bank of the Nile
River, where you’ll have the chance to see elephants, giraffes, buffalos, and antelopes in their
natural surroundings.
Return to the lodge for a dinner and an overnight stay under the stars, accompanied by the
sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 2: Game Drives, Boat Cruise, and Visit to Murchison Falls.
Kick off your day with an early morning game drive. The cool morning air is filled with the
promise of adventure, and you’ll have an excellent chance of spotting lions, leopards, and
other wildlife. The season adds a unique charm to the experience, with the possibility of
seeing animals celebrating their own way in the wild.
Return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast, followed by some leisure time to relax and soak in
the holiday atmosphere.
In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Nile River. As you approach the base of
Murchison Falls, you’ll encounter hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. The cruise
offers an opportunity to spot elephants and other wildlife along the riverbanks.
After the cruise, take a guided hike to the top of Murchison Falls. The sight of the Nile River
forcefully plunging through the gorge is a spectacular gift from nature. Return to the lodge
for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Return to Kampala.
Begin your final morning with a game drive or guided nature walk, giving you one last chance
to capture the beauty and excitement of Murchison Falls National Park. The spirit is still alive as
you explore the park’s diverse landscapes and wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast,
followed by check-out.
Begin your journey back to agreed place, with an optional stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
for a guided rhino tracking experience—adding an extra touch of adventure to your trip.
Arrive in agreed place in the late afternoon or early evening, where you’ll be dropped off at your
hotel, marking the end of your 3-day Murchison Falls Safari.
